Dave Cousins was born on Vancouver Island and then raised for the majority of his life in the Okanagan Valley. After attending Okanagan University College with a focus on financial services, he chose to move to Calgary to explore its opportunities. With the realization that serving the public came naturally to him, he worked in many different industries that Calgary had to offer. In 2003, he found an industry that included his love for business, finances, negotiating, serving his clients and problem solving… being a real estate agent.

Dave is an expert at explaining the entire buying and selling experience with his clients and his impressive approach to working with buyers, listening to their comments and feedback and understanding what is truly important to them in a new home is where his natural talents come to life. To Dave, nothing is as fulfilling in real estate as observing a client walk into a home and watching their whole face light up at the realization that “it’s the one!”. For Dave it’s about making the entire experience of buying a home just as fun and exciting as possession day is.
Because Dave is a lifelong learner, his drive for education and to be a better agent never stops. He has completed his Certified Condo Specialist, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist with Million Dollar Guild status and New Home Sales Designation. This is on top of reading a personal development book a month. Always ensuring he is at the top of his game. He enjoys passing along his drive for professionalism and marketing through teaching and educating agents in his spare time.
Outside of real estate, he enjoys traveling, photography and scuba diving. He participates in year-round soccer, volleyball and swing dancing. Throughout the year he can be found exploring Calgary and Southern Alberta, enjoying the many events and sites this outstanding province has to offer.
